Sample Email for Approaching OB/GYN

Here is an email I used to approach OB/GYN, and can be easily adapted for use in approaching other healthcare professionals. Check out Slideberry’s presentations on Prenatal and Postpartum Wellness.

Sample Email/Letter:

I am Holistic Nutrition and Wellness coach in [your location], specializing in preconception health, prenatal and postpartum wellness, as well as women’s health.

I would like to explore opportunities to collaborate with you in bringing my coaching service, classes and workshops to your patients, adding value and diversity to the service that you are providing them.

You can learn more about my practice at [your website URL]. I support my clients in improving their physical health, emotional wellness and mental clarity through proper nutrition and sensible lifestyle adjustments. I work with my coaching clients over the course of a few months, to make sure that the changes are integrated into their lives and can bring them life-long benefits.

For prenatal clients, I focus on helping them learn about foods that are nutrient-dense, achieve optimal weight gain, use drug-free ways to alleviate common pregnancy discomforts, exercise appropriately, and reduce exposure to environment toxins. I also address issues such as gestational diabetes with diet and lifestyle changes.

For my postpartum clients, I work with them on safe weight loss while maintaining milk supply, focusing on proper nutrition as well as reduction in stress and exposure to environmental toxins.

I will follow up with your office in a week’s time. If you would like to connect, you can reach me at [your email address and/or your phone number]

Look forward to speaking with you.
